At the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business, Dr. Mark Lee Levine is a full Professor and Director of the Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management, lecturing on taxes, real estate securities, tax aspects of real estate transactions, liability and business law.
Mark Lee Levine is President and Chairman of Levine and Pitler, P.C., attorneys, in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Levine is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Levine, LTD., REALTORS, a real estate management and brokerage firm in Denver. He has lectured throughout the world on such topics as real estate, law, estate planning, syndication, investment, appraisal and tax. Levine holds many real estate or related Designations, e.g., CCIM, CRB, CRS, CPM, DREI, GRI, ALC, MAI, SREA, CRE, CPM, CA-C, SRS, CIPS, GAA, CLU, ChFC, etc. He is also active on various tax, real estate and legal committees.
Dr. Levine is admitted to practice before the Colorado, Federal District, Circuit, Tax, and United States Supreme Courts. Dr. Levine serves on numerous publishing and advisory boards. He has published many articles in a number of publications and has authored 22 books on topics such as real estate, tax, business, law and real estate securities.
Dr. Levine was selected as one of the outstanding educators of America and received the University of Colorado and the University of Denver Distinguished Instructor Awards. He is a graduate in tax law from New York University School of Law; from Northwestern University Graduate School of Management; from Century University, with a Ph.D. in Business Administration; from the University of Denver School of Law; and from Colorado State University, with a B.S., Magna Cum Laude.
