Barbara Lambert

Barbara’s professional experiences are deeply rooted in association management having begun her career in 1976 with the Indianapolis Chapter of the American Red Cross. From there she moved to the Northwest Indiana Chapter then on to the Chicago Chapter of the American Red Cross where she served until 1990. In Chicago, Barbara directed the 11 service center operations and traveled across country providing volunteer recruitment and training seminars. She served five years as the CEO of the Greater Northwest Indiana Association of REALTORS®, an organization she directed through the merger of four local associations. In 1996 Barbara joined the Sacramento Association of REALTORS®. Barbara has also served as the VP of Administration of a four-office family owned REALTOR® firm and assisted in the merger with a 6 office firm to form a Prudential franchise covering Northwest Indiana and Southland Chicago.

Since joining the Denver Metropolitan Association of REALTORS and the Denver Board of REALTORS® in October of 2001, Barbara has directed a transition to increase member service, ensure greater fiscal accountability, heighten public awareness of the REALTOR® organization, support strategic planning efforts in the Associations and ensure a minimal loss of economic efficient while increasing member satisfaction in the transition.

Over the years Barbara’s community volunteer involvement includes the Girl Scouts, the Methodist church, the United Way, the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra and Hospice.

Barbara currently serves as the President for the Denver Metropolitian Commercial Association of Realtors (DMCAR). A primary objective in Barbara’s business is to expand the number of vendor relationships DMCAR cultivates to benefit its member base, as well as to provide her members with venues to connect and augment one another. If you or someone you know may have interest in DMCAR, give her a call.
