Candis Hewitt

Senior Director, Candis Hewitt, has distinguished herself as one of the Companys top commercial brokers nationwide since joining Cushman & Wakefield in 1982. In 1998, Ms. Hewitt was named "Top Office Broker" in the Denver Business Journal. She has been the #1 broker for Cushman & Wakefield of Colorado, Inc. and for the last twenty-two years had been recognized as one of Denvers "Heavy Hitters". During this time, she has been involved in sales and leasing transactions for commercial office buildings, land and development properties. She has been recognized as one of Denvers top brokers since 1985 as noted in publications such as the Colorado Business Magazine, The Denver Post and the Colorado Real Estate Journal. Ms. Hewitt has created and implemented national and international real estate programs and strategic planning for clients for over two decades. She has been recognized in "Whos Who in Business" since 1985. She has been quoted in and has written articles for the National Investor and Southwest Real Estate Commercial news and is also considered an information resource for these publications. Ms. Hewitt had conducted seminars for the RTC and has served as a guest speaker for NAIOP, IREM, CREW and other industry associations. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Ms. Hewitt acquired seven years of experience in sales, development, management, and real estate investment positions. As a part of the team at Garrett, Bromfield & Company, Romanek, Golub & Company, and First national Bank of Denver / First Interstate, she held positions in real estate investment, sales, financing and development.
Ms. Hewitt is an alumna of the University of Denver where she majored in real estate. In addition, she is a member of the Denver Chamber of Commerce, Colorado Springs Chamber and Economic Development Council, Denver Board of Realtors, and the Board of The International Alliance. She is also a guest lecturer on the real estate economy and has conducted various real estate seminars. Ms. Hewitt had been on the faculty for Continuing Legal Education and also dedicated time to the Colorado Make-a-Wish Foundation, Colorado Leukemia Society, and has also served as a Board Member of the following organizations: American Diabetes Association, Metro Mobility, Special Olympics and Opera-Pros.
