Iris Foster

Iris Foster has been active in the Denver commercial real estate market for more than 20 years with experience in all facets of the property cycle to include project development, partnership compliance, financial analysis, asset management, mortgage financing, leasing, construction management, property management, property evaluation and due diligence related to the acquisition and disposition of office, retail, industrial and multi-family market and affordable real estate. In addition, Iris is an adjunct professor at the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business, Burns School focusing on real estate concepts and income property management for Executive Master Students.

Ms. Foster earned a Master of Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business, Franklin Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management in 2000 and she holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado majoring in organizational management and human resources with an emphasis in finance and accounting. Ms. Foster also earned the CCIM designation from the CCIM Institute as well as the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), Real Property Administrator (RPA) from the Building Owners and Manager’s Institute (BOMI) and holds an active Colorado Real Estate Broker license.

Most recently, Ms. Foster served as Chief Operating Officer for a family-owned full-service commercial real estate company. Ms. Foster is actively involved in Alumni activities at the Burns School, serving as past president of the Burns School Executive Committee for the Alumni & Friends, selected a DU Burns Fellow in 1999 and she also served as the co-chair for the 2001 Mid-Year Update Symposium.
