Meg Byrne Meg Byrne is a recent graduate of the Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management at the University of Denver. Byrne majored in Real Estate Marketing with a minor in Finance, with a goal of attaining a position in commercial real estate. During her tenure at DU, she was involved in several student real estate organizations such as NAIOP and CREW, giving her the tools to jump-start her career. Byrne recently joined the Grubb & Ellis Retail Group as an Associate Broker with the new retail leasing team, which is headed by Dax Gergen, Vice President of Retail. She attributes her success thus far to the profound education she received from the elite group of RECM professors and the dedication of the RECM personnel. “The RECM School not only gave me the tools to start my career, but they put me in touch with the right people allowing me to use my skills and land the job I have today” says Byrne, reflecting on her experiences at DU. Even though she is young in her career she feels that with her education and perseverance, success in commercial real estate is one obstacle she will tackle. |
